The first room was dirty.
This was the most horrible experience at a hotel. . .ever!!!
If it wasn't for the fact that it was a hurricane and there were literally no other hotels available within 30 miles, I would never have stayed.
All in all, it was a fair stay. I'm just glad I didn't have to pay for it!
The room was a little "grungy." The cleaning staff did not clean thoroughly between guests. I found items on the floor under the bed and in the bathroom.
Fairly old building needing maintenance (door handle wobbly, exit sign at stairs half missing, patch in ceiling bad, carpet gross, mold in shower to name a few). It is a pet friendly place so that may explain the smell of wet dog in the room. Linens were questionable if they had been changed or not, pillows stunk. We slept on beach towels and woke up with bites which I'm assuming is fleas. On a positive note I thoroughly inspected the beds and did not see any sign of bed bugs. When I asked for extra towels initially told no, then got some when I didn't leave. Breakfast (no, we didn't eat there) was a joke of some dry cereal, one thing of juice and coffee. Had no intention of eating there but wanted to see. Seemed to be a Patel run facility, everything had a smell. Won't be going there again. The location was right off the freeway but it's behind McDonald's and hard to find and hard to get to once you find it. Would have left if anyone else had a room. I don't know what was going in there but there were no other vacancies.
The location is close to everything you'd need as far as food or groceries.
Stayed there for a night while driving through. As expected. Nice and quiet place to rest and head out in AM.
Veryy unfriendly staff member, as soon as he say the rate the choice hotel gave me he was upset and was very rude. We get to the rooms the first had five webs on the lamp the smell was horrible the floors were dirty looked like it hadbt been mopped in weeks the ceiling had mold the tube had stains and then I found roaches with a dirty mircowave. Not worth the price even if you get a good deal. Don't GO THERE
The second room had bugs in the bed. I had to got to Target and purchase my own bathroom cleaning supplies. I've never had to clean a hotel room before feeling comfortable closing my eyes to sleep.
Also, I wouldn't call them "suites." A couch in the room does not equal a suite! The "courtyard" has a gazebo, which is nice, but there isn't anything to look at. I was there during the off season, but they do have a pool.
