Today I went to the Tag Office to transfer a tag and register new vehicle. Tanisha was so helpful, making herself available almost instantly after I was next in line, and was very pleasant and conversational. She was patient and made my visit quick and easy. Thanks Tanisha!

I’m giving it three stars because it’s not terrible and it’s not crazy great either. However! It’s been getting better and faster. Each year I go in and i walk out within 20 minutes for the past three years 2013-2016 have been more and more expedient. And whenever I get another motorcycle, it’s just as quick. I understand how the representatives must feel, on a daily basis of customers not having the correct paperwork or playing ignorant with what needs to be brought in order to register your vehicle. All the tiresome times, sitting all day and dealing with irritable people and some are happy to get their vehicles registered. Either way, I feel they are doing much better than 2011-2012 years. Plus the kiosk machine looks cool but I just rather see the human teller. I have 9-11 vehicles to register at a time.

I had to spend an hour on the phone and filling out a form and finding someplace that had a fax so I could send the form to the office, to Yolanda. She said she would handle it and send me an email when she had processed the paperwork. I await her email.

Barbara is so rude and judgmental she doesn’t look at you or anything, make you feel so stupid for asking a question. I had to help my elderly friend up here and Barbara put on a big attitude when my friend couldn’t hear her. She needs another job where she don’t have to be talking to people. I hate Cobb county anyway with their big speed traps they so proud of, I moved from Cobb county in the 90’s Barbara proved again to me I’m never going back.

They have a self service tag machine that lets you renew your registration in under 5 minutes. Never a line for it. Otherwise about a 20 minute wait to talk to a person. Helpful people. Electric charging stations in the parking lot.

I sold my car on 7/9/2017, and that week I took the car tag in to turn it in and cancel my registration. I went to the right most station to turn in the tag, gave it to the lady. She took the tag but did not cancel the registration. Yesterday, I got a bill and warning from the state that I would not be able to register any more cars unless I paid a $25 dollar fine for failure to maintain insurance. I called the tag office and they had no record of me turning in the tag and cancelling the registration.
