Amazing find in Marietta!! Tons of great materials, they buy and trade as well. Great prices. My new go to for some good reads, music, games, movies, everything!
Not many current books. More importantly, the staff was incredibly rude. Not once did any of them speak to me. When I said hello to one employee, she looked at me as if I'd just insulted her mother before continuing to ignore me. The few times they were paying attention to me, an employee would show up in whatever section I was browsing and stare at me before walking away without saying a word. I guess lingering in a bookstore is on their list of suspicious behaviors. Um, no lady, I am not going to steal your latest Suzanne Sommers autobiography.
Nice selection of used books. Also they have quite a few comics.
Great selection and wonderful staff. I've been a customer for years. I've always enjoyed my purchases and time spent discussing various films with the crew, as most are movies buffs as well. A great location for hard to find or out of print editions. We're fortunate to have them in the community!
I've known Book Nook for a LONG time. I used to live in Chamblee and go to the one at Skyland Shopping Centre. When I moved here, I was so glad to be able to get there by bus. They moved and while CCT cut the #65 bus out, my boyfriend and I still go here a lot. I usually spend a great deal of time or money-or both more than at most bookstore because I can afford more here than Barnes & Nobles or the old bookstores at the malls.
