While this campus was under the leadership of Dr. Lisa Rossbacher, the former Southern Polytechnic State University campus flourished. It was one of the best schools in the state you could enroll. Students were challenged to think critically, to demonstrate practical knowledge, and theoretical knowledge. After graduation many of the students were immediately able to find employment. Under the failed leadership of the Board of Regents they forced a merger with Kennesaw which did not have these excellent standards. Kennesaw is more about enrollment and numbers then focusing on student achievement and academic excellence. This led to the change of the curriculum of the computer science program in which I was a graduate student. I left the graduate program because I could not see the value anymore after the merger. The curriculum seemed to be a complete repeat of the undergraduate degree I had completed at Southern Polytechnic State University. I decided to seek employment rather than continue repeating my undergrad.
Took nice to register for the semester and fuond the campus to be very user friendly, quite CLEAN and parking was no problem.The staff friendly, courteous. Very knowledgeable about the procedure and helpful in every way possible
i really hate the office of registrar in ksu. i have not idea what this office for but making unfair decision to students. i am a senior but i have to wait all other senior students get their classes first, because the stupid time ticket the stupid office of registrar gave me. i had to wait 3 days after the registration opened. now all major classes i can take are full. i emailed the office and they said there are 30 different groups of senior students out of 25000 students, which means international students group is the last group they consider. yes, they are racist. bte, advisor just told me to pick whatever is available to add up to 12 credits，why the hell i need to spend 10,000 dollars for some classes are useless and meaningless to me? now i have to wait other year to graduate. thank for the stupid office of registrar. ksu just shut down this office for better future.
Miss y'all! Was there for 6 weeks due to an exchange program. So many friendly people, great teachers and lectors, and the merch! oh god that merch! Still love wearing that Kennesaw State hoodie!
As a parent of a female student, I love the security this college offers in a male dominated culture. The fees tacked onto tuition just for living there are ridiculous.
