I food is always delicious!! The chef is excellent. Definitely more than 5 stars!!!
Let me start with the good. One, it's a nice little atmosphere. Small place, but I like that. Two, once we sat down, the service was better than you could ever hope for. Our server was perfect - she wasn't overbearing, but kept making sure we were good. I never had an empty beer, and she was very informative, descriptive, and knowledgeable on everything we asked. Three, the food was very obviously fresh. The quality of the ingredients were top notch.
Attentive service in a cozy atmosphere. Food was well presented and everything was prepared or cooked perfectly. Ordered the snapper as my main and while tasty, was not particularly interesting.
Huge potential wasted here in my opinion. Marietta is a hot spot, people are willing to pay. I can't see myself going back anytime soon, which is a shame. I live a mile away. Too much money to risk that same experience.
Outstanding locally driven fare in a lovely, rustic minimalist space. Menu is small with a focus on freshness and seasonal availably. Service could use a little fine tuning but nothing major, overall excellent!
Why do you actually go to a restaurant? For good food. They took some of the best quality ingredients I've ever had put on a plate and some how made it... Okay. I had the bacon wrapped venison loin, and I've just never spent $35 and been so underwhelmed.
That all being said...
Friendly staff and very creative dishes. Featured menu items are fresh and presentation is unique.
My girlfriend had the sunchoke risotto. It was basically a plate full of mediocrity.
As I said, very obviously high quality ingredients, just mediocre recipes.
The best thing we ate that night was the bread and butter. It's off the charts, and I wish they'd sell it to go, by the loaf.
