I was on vacation in Marietta Georgia and heard about this museum. I love gone with the wind so it was a must for me to come Andy investigate.. most of the museum is pictures letters and autographs of those associated with the movie.. a lot of Margaret Mitchell. They did have a couple of authentic costumes.. I wasn't blown away but it was interesting if you like to read the details.
We have read "Gone with the Wind" 3 times. Seeing dresses, paintings, history of the novel was terrific. Plan to spend an hour in museum. Also has a small gift. shop.
Really cool, lots of neat stuff to see (international versions, posters, art, etc)
Not what I was expecting. Cost to get in was a little pricey. Interesting but very dreary & hot inside.
