We had a horrible experience here. We called on Thursday and Rosalin promised us a private room. My grandmother got discharged from the hospital on Saturday. We got to the lobby and there was nobody there. It took forever to find somebody to help us, and when we finally did we were given a shared room. My grandmother's side was literally the size of a closet, the fan didn't work, and it was incredibly hot. We went to their "ice cream social" and it was just some popsicles on the third floor. On Sunday her incision started leaking, but the staff didn't notice. They just said she kept peeing herself. It was my mother who noticed that the incision was leaking, and my grandmother was rushed back to the hospital for an internal blockage. On Monday we called to speak to Rosalin, and she denied ever promising us a private room.
When I toured 3 facilities that was given to me by Wellstar in Paulding County for discharge of my Mom to Rehab, the only available ones were 45-1.0 hour from where we resided.. after touring 2 others and arrived at A.G. Rhodes I decided on this one for Mom.. I have had several experiences with rehabs in Florida and my expectations were about the same.. I am however pleased to say, Three weeks into Mom's Rehab, I was wrong.. A.G. Rhodes Far exceeds my expectation and the staff are incredible, They are so caring and pro-active with concerns and my Mom feels so comfortable here that I am afraid she may not want to come home which she loves so much.. Yes A.G. Rhodes, you are deserving of 5 stars in my book. Thanks to the entire staff, Administration, Food services, Therapy and the very caring Nurses and Auxiliary staff that takes such good care of the residents.. Thank you very much.
